Corporate Social Responsibility for Business
What is the course about?
This course is ideal for new or existing personnel working or wishing to work in the business compliance / HR. It is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills required to meet Social Compliance obligations in business. There are no pre-requisites for this training, however, to qualify as an approved auditor you must maintain personal auditor certification and have relevant industry experience.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be:
- Aware of the regulatory framework for Social Compliance Auditing
- Understand businesses social compliance obligations and requirements.
- Awareness of the ethical trade framework
- Understanding of the ethical trade measurement criteria
The course is conducted both virtually via live web (Microsoft teams) or face to face facilitator led theory/practical classes involving small groups/ individual activities or case studies. The course examines the ethical trade measurement criteria and the requirements of business to meet these criteria.
What do I do if I need to cancel my booking?
Please contact AUS-MEAT immediately to avoid any cancellation fees. Full payment is required no later than 5 days prior to the commencement of training. A 50% cancellation fee will apply on cancellations received less than 10 working days prior to commencement of training.
NO refunds are given for cancellations received less than 5 working days prior to the commencement of training. Any transfers between courses will incur a $100 fee on each instance.

English is not my first language! Will I have problems?
All AUS-MEAT training courses are presented in English. A sound understanding of the English language is required. All workbooks and assessments are conducted in English. If required, the use of dictionaries or tablets are acceptable.

How will you be assessed
Students will be required to complete quizzes throughout and be active in their contribution towards group discussions. Case studies will be undertaken, and participants will be expected to provide responses to these verbally. At the completion of the two-day workshop, participants are required to complete an online assessment (quiz) and submit within one week of the course being conducted.
Issue of certificates
Participants will be issued a Statement of Completion upon successful completion of case studies and quizzes.

At the course:
This is not an "attendance only" course.
- AUS-MEAT has set standards and expects all potential animal welfare auditors to meet the minimum standards.
- Your success depends largely on your own input into the course.
- The Trainer/s will assist you to develop studying techniques.
- Please feel free to ask the Trainer/s any questions during the course.
- Reviewing the day's material at night will help reinforce concepts introduced at the course.
- The course will involve group activities and discussions, please participate enthusiastically.
